Wild Life in our backyard . . .

This is a yellow headed blackbird. I hope you can see it clear enough. They have been flying through the backyard. I believe I saw four on the neighbors roof the other day. This one is in our cherry tree. Yes this is a cherry tree.

This pheasant was strutting through our backyard the other morning.

One morning this week Lon and I were working in the garden and I looked up and two male pheasants were flying directly at me. They saw the abstuction ahead, me, and diverted before! ! It can be dangerous working out side.

Easter weekend with Doug and Teresa . . .

This is Preston at the bottom of the ski run. I think the ski patrol, Doug, Andrew, Preston and of course Noelle made about five runs that day.
This is the ski patrol heading back up for another run.

Winter fun at Winter Park

Andrew the Dot in the middle ! ! !
He is just getting to the fencing . . .

Andrew snowboaarding at Winter Park. Doug said he hit the snow several time but he looks good going down the last part of the slope in front of all of us.

Fox Whisperer ! ! !

Lon, Andrew and I spent Easter weekend with Doug and Teresa and family at Teresa's Dad's place in Evergreen just out of Denver. Sunday morning Andrew was taking things out to the car and out of the corner of his eye he saw something moving. A red fox came within two feet of him. It became nervious and ran off. On his second trip out there it was again. He was able to take Dad's camera out of the bag and take pictures of the fox. I was at the end of the driveway and got the pictures of him and the fox. We are not sure why it was so friendly. Maybe the musk smell of Andrews deorderent and not shower that morning was calling the wild. . .
